Assistant Chef

Cathedral Café and Catering is situated within Wells Cathedral and provides daily catering services to visitors, regular customers and staff, as well as catering for private events and Cathedral hospitality both within the Cathedral and off site.
We are now looking for an Assistant Chef to join our busy team producing a daily varied menu from excellent local fresh ingredients.
You will be a reliable, self-starter, able to work effectively alone and as part of a busy team. You will have good organisational skills, able to handle busy service periods. Duties include deputising for the Chef in the preparation of high quality food for our busy Café and Event business, ordering, stock rotation, keeping the kitchen areas clean and maintaining temperature/cleaning records.
