Wells Cathedral Choir Association
The WCCA was formed in 2009 by Matthew Owens, the current Organist & Master of the Choristers. The aim of the Association is to maintain a link between the Cathedral and the current choir with ex-choristers, Vicars Choral, choral scholars and organists.
The committee works closely with the Cathedral, the Cathedral School and the Old Wellensian Association to maintain contact with past members of the music establishment, organise reunions and share news. Click here to read our most recent newsletter.
We have been an active member of the Federation of Old Choristers Association since our foundation in 2009, providing articles and updates to its magazine Once A Chorister.
Our Patron is Peter Price, Bishop of Bath & Wells and the President of the Association is the Dean, The Very Reverend John Clarke. The committee is chaired by Chris Seaton, an ex chorister from 1971-1975.
