CLOISTER CATERING

The Wells Cathedral Catering Company, known as ‘Cloister Catering’ aims to present good quality food at affordable prices in historic surroundings. The company is wholly owned by the Chapter of Wells Cathedral and is a commercially run operation that takes pride in its food, in its welcome and service to its customers, and in a proper concern for its staff. All profits go to assist the Cathedral in its work.

RESTAURANT

Enjoy a coffee, lunch or tea in the beautiful surroundings of one of the original stone cloisters of Wells Cathedral. Our hundred – seater counter service Restaurant located in the West Cloister is open every day of the week and food is freshly prepared on the premises using local suppliers for our produce wherever possible. Children are welcome. (Highchairs available.)

Typical dishes include Somerset Brie and Roasted Vegetable Pasta Bake, Pork and Apple Casserole and Cauliflower and Stilton Flan as well as seasonal salads, hearty soups and tempting puddings and cakes. A vegetarian choice is always available.

Sun	1.00pm - 5.00pm March to October

The Restaurant may close half an hour early in Winter.
The Restaurant is open all year round apart from Good Friday and at Christmas.
