Please note that the Cathedral operates a Quiet Hour from 12.00pm-1.00pm from April to October. This restores the peace and tranquility of this holy place and serves as a reminder of its primary purpose as a place of worship. Guided tours do not take place during Quiet Hour.
Please also note that the East End of the Cathedral (including the Quire, Lady Chapel and Interpretation Centre) is closed for Evensong from 4.20pm until 6.15pm or when the service has ended.
