As announced at the Cathedral Eucharist last Sunday, the Cathedral is delighted to announce that Rob James, the Chancellor, has been offered and accepted a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity.

He will be leaving the Cathedral at the end of June to take up the post of Professor of Anglican Formation and Studies at the Vancouver School of Theology, as an Associate Professor. The School is an affiliate college of the University of British Colombia.

Rob has a long-standing interest in the training of those preparing for ministry and he enjoys academic studies, with his lock-down project being a study of the Gospel of Luke.

He and Jean also very much enjoy spending time in Canada and are excited and looking forward to their new challenges.

The Dean, Chapter, and staff of the Cathedral wish them both the very best as they begin a new chapter in their lives.
