Fun abounds with Summer Family Holiday Activities

Thursday 31 August 2023

It’s been a busy August in the Learning Department with family holiday activities bringing children, their parents, grandparents and carers to join in the summer fun!

Self-guided trails took families around the Cathedral searching for masons’ marks and all things water-related while hands on activities included soap carving, badge making and clock crafts.

Children also learnt about looking after our native wildlife, making bird feeders and mini bee hotels to take home as well as helping us to fill the new bug hotel in the Camery Garden.

Our Watery Wells day included activities to help children think about saving water and keeping our seas and rivers clean.

Check next month’s E-Newsletter for details of our family holiday sessions on 23, 24 and 25 October.

We’ll be offering craft activities inspired by Jacqui Parkinson’s vibrant ‘Threads through Creation’ exhibition which you’ll be able to explore during your visit.  We hope to see you there!

Save the date for our Christmas family holiday activities will be on 18, 19 and 20 December.
