A joyous celebration of 25 years of Girl Choristers in the Cathedral Choir

On Tuesday 24 September, we had the enormous pleasure of welcoming HRH The Countess of Wessex GCVO, Royal Patron of the Chorister Trust, and HRH The Earl of Wessex to the Cathedral, to help us celebrate 25 years of Girl Choristers in the Cathedral Choir.

The Countess of Wessex greeted junior school students on her arrival at Wells Cathedral School, attended a recital in Cedars Hall which included performances by former choristers, and then listened to a rehearsal of current choristers in the song school. After this, both their Royal Highnesses attend a celebratory evensong in the Cathedral.
