Mental Health & Wellbeing Days
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2020 Wells Cathedral in partnership with the Diocese of Bath & Wells Education Department invites you to join us for our Mental Health & Wellbeing Days.
Wellbeing, mindfulness and emotional resilience There will be a carousel of 3 activities:
- Stumble Trip’s physical theatre— promoting body positivity and empathy through creative subversion and play.
- Music with David Williams or Tony Cook—singing and drumming, with an emphasis on working together, being confident in the part they are playing, taking risks and having fun
- Outdoor workshop with Sonia Mainstone-Cotton—involving some wellbeing and mindful exercises including making nature pictures, noticing and listening to what is around us and bubble breathing.
The day will include a Stumble Trip performance and a short act of Collective Worship
An event for children in years 4 & 5—schools are limited to bringing a maximum of 15 children Book early to avoid disappointment. Places need to be pre-booked at £4.80 (including VAT) per pupil (teachers go free)
