WW1 Centenary Commemoration – Primary Schools Event

Wednesday 14th November 10-2pm at Wells Cathedral

Wells Cathedral is working with Barnabas in Schools and Wells & Mendip Museum to put on an interactive and reflective event to commemorate the WW1 centenary.

  • Remembrance and Peace: go on a reflective tour of the cathedral and view the knitted poppy exhibition and school displays in the Chapter House.

The day will close with a plenary and collective act of Remembrance.

Optional: During lunch time visit the field of poppies made by local children at the Bishops Palace
