During Holy Week this year, the Cathedral held an online competition to produce two pictures of an Easter Garden, one with Jesus’ tomb closed and one with the stone rolled away. The competition winners will be decided by the Dean in the coming weeks – thank you to everyone who sent in their pictures!
For Good Friday, here are the pictures showing the stone firmly in place, combined with a few verses from Luke’s account of the burial of Jesus.
For Easter Day, here are the pictures of Easter Gardens showing Jesus’ tomb open and empty. He has risen from the dead!
