Virtual GCSE Religious Studies Conference

Wells Cathedral Education Department invites you to a Multi Faith RS conference with a panel comprising of representatives of Catholic, Anglican, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish and Sikh faiths.

The conference is aimed at Year 10 and Year 11 pupils and provides an opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the religions studied in the RS GCSE syllabus and explore philosophical and ethical issues. The conference consists of a series of pre-recorded speeches by the panel members for use in class, followed by a live ‘Question Time’ with the panel on Teams.

The event is chaired by The Revd. Canon Dr Rob James, Canon Chancellor of Wells Cathedral and panel members are:

Catholic Representative: Mr Hugh Walters

Anglican Representative: Revd Mary Bide

Hindu Representative: Sandhya Dave

Booking Information

£3.60 per student (inclusive of VAT) and payable by invoice.

Free places available for students receiving Free School Meals.
