Still a few places left on ‘Be a Chorister for a Day’

This year’s ‘Be a Chorister for a Day’ will take place on Saturday 15 October. At this event children aged between 7 and 9 years old can learn what it is like to be a Cathedral Chorister.

Up to forty five children can attend the event, which runs from 11am – 5.15pm. The day includes singing games, designing t-shirts, learning about the Cathedral and finding out what a Chorister really does. Lunch is provided, and at the end of the day the children sing Evensong with the Cathedral Choir – parents are extremely welcome!

Places are limited and the day is very popular. If you would like to receive a booking form for the next event please send an e-mail with your name, address, telephone number, child’s name and date of birth to Forms will be sent out at the beginning of September to all who have enquired, and places will be allocated to those returning completed forms on a first-come-first-served basis.
