Cathedral Eucharist sung by St Mary's Ecumenical Choir

Description:A service of Sung Eucharist held in the Nave of Wells Cathedral. In term time this is sung by the Wells Cathedral Choir. All welcome. St. Mary's Ecumenical Choir, based in Shropshire, was founded in 1968. They are a mixed choir with members from all parts of the UK. The choir has sung services and performed concerts in a variety of cathedrals and churches around the country. There are three choir visits each year and more recent tours have included: Norwich, Ripon, Hereford, Blackburn, Ely and Peterborough Cathedrals. The Director of Music is Peter Smith and Organists are Martin Charlton and Sean Montgomery. The choir sings both a cappella and accompanied music from an extensive repertoire. The choir sang at Wells a few years ago and are looking forward to returning to sing in the Cathedral again this summer. Web Site for further details:
