Meet the Sikhs on Cathedral Green

Annual family-friendly event, hedl this year on Cathedral Green.
There will be a large kitchen from LangarAid preparing and giving away delicious vegetarian food, Bhangra drummers and dancers from Eternal Taal performing and inviting members of the public to join them in the drumming and dancing, and a crew of turban tyers covering the heads of anyone who wants one.
Information about KhalsaAid International disaster relief charity, plus information about Wells Rotary’s activities and projects to help people here and abroad including defibrillators around Wells and support for a charity in South Tamil Nadu, India, as well as local youth competitions, the annual Reindeer Parade and the annual Boules Tournament.
There is an opportunity to buy KhalsaAid branded items like t-shirts and to hear about their amazing work.
Ravi Singh, the founder and CEO of KhalsaAid will be present to talk with people and inspire them. This whole friendship between KhalsaAid and Rotary began when KhalsaAid came to the rescue of the people on the Levels during the 2014 floods and formed lasting bonds. See more on Facebook
