Friday 22nd October
19:00 - 21:00
The London Handel Players is a world class ensemble bringing together leading period-instrument specialists in the field of baroque chamber music.
Praised by the New York Times for their “soulful depth” and their “consummate skill and musicianship”, the London Handel Players captivate audiences across the world with their performances and recordings. From the smallest forces (duos, trios and quartets) their ensemble expands to flute/recorder with strings and harpsichord (larger-scale chamber works and concertos) to present a vast repertoire of gems from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
Visit Wells Cathedral and hear the acclaimed London Handel Players perform in the shadow of Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon.
Tickets: £20 – £40
Proceeds from this event support the charitable work of Wells Cathedral.
