The First Presbyterian Sanctuary Choir is comprised of both professional choristers and volunteer singers, some of whom are also professional musicians. In addition to Sunday worship, the Sanctuary Choir regularly performs major works with members of the Nashville Symphony. Recent concerts have included Haydn’s Creation, Mozart’s Requiem, Bach’s B minor mass, and Mendelssohn’s Elijah. The Sanctuary Choir has toured Scotland, France, Ireland, and the Czech Republic. In addition, he is the Director of Choral Music at Middle Tennessee State University and conducts the University’s Schola Cantorum. He is the past conductor of the Nashville Symphony Chorus and the Assistant Conductor of the Nashville Opera.
