The high point of the 2024 Sound of Wells Festival: Bach’s St John Passion powerfully tells the story at the core of our faith.
Few works come close to the extraordinary emotive power of Bach’s St John Passion, which tells the final hours of Jesus’ life with gripping dramatic intensity. The Cathedral Choir is joined by period instrument ensemble Réjouissance and acclaimed soloists for this special 300th anniversary performance in the sublime setting of Wells Cathedral.
