Pre-booked services

Information on services that require pre-booking.

While public worship has resumed in the Cathedral, seating is socially distanced and numbers are sometimes limited. To help us prepare for some of our larger services, we would ask that you email ahead the number of people in your group that you expect will attend the following services.

Please note that due to government guidance, we cannot seat groups of more than 6 people, and that face masks must be worn at all times unless you are exempt.

Thank you for your understanding.

Fauré Requiem

Sunday 8th November 2020

In place of Evensong there will be a devotional performance of Fauré’s Requiem. This will end with the annual poppy drop in remembrance of all those who gave their lives for our future. The retiring collection will be divided between the Poppy Appeal and the Cathedral’s Bounce Back Appeal. Those who wish to attend are asked to email office@wellscathedral.uk.net by Wednesday 4th November so that we can prepare well. Thank you.

Road Peace Evensong

This service of Choral Evensong falls on the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. The collection from the service will be divided equally between the Cathedral’s Bounce Back Appeal and the Road Peace Charity. Those who wish to attend are asked to email office@wellscathedral.uk.net in advance so that we can prepare well. Thank you.
