Notification of Road Closure – St Andrews Street and Vicars Close: There will be a road closure notice in force on St. Andrews Street and Vicars Close between 10th and 13th January 2021 for filming purposes which will mean that entry will be for access only. The Diocese has agreed, kindly, that we may use the Old Deanery car park for congregational parking on Sunday 10th January and so please do tell the security person at the entry to St. Andrews Street that you are seeking access only and then park in the Old Deanery car park. Cars should be moved straight after the service has finished to avoid capacity issues and the potential for being ‘locked in’.

Disabled parking provided by the local authority is available in the indicated parking bays on Cathedral Green Road and elsewhere throughout the City of Wells.

For information on disabled parking in Wells please visit the Mendip District Council website here.

For large groups arriving by coach or minibus please call 01749 674483 to confirm access arrangements for a drop off point adjacent to the West Front of the Cathedral. Disabled WC facilities are located in the public toilets at the East end of the South Cloister and the café toilets adjacent to the main exit.
