Bringing people together from Britain and the Caribbean to explore how the City of Wells is connected to transatlantic slavery.

Held at Cedars Hall, this event will consist a morning of talks & creative responses followed by lunch and a workshop.

This conference has been organized by Wells Cathedral as part of a working group consisting of Wells Cathedral, Wells Cathedral School, Wells & Mendip Museum, St. Cuthbert’s parish church, The Bishop’s Palace, City Archives, Somerset African Caribbean Network, Exeter University, The Museum of Antigua and Barbuda, and interested individuals.
