Chapter two Cafe and Restaurant

Chapter two Café and Restaurant is a relaxing, self-service eatery boasting views to the magnificent West Front of Wells Cathedral and over the tranquil moat of the Bishop’s Palace.

Join us for morning coffee or afternoon tea with a great selection of freshly-baked scones, pastries and cakes or perhaps at lunchtime for a warming bowl of homemade soup. Other light lunch options include panninis, quiches and salads.

For more hearty lunchtime dishes we are delighted to be able to make use of the excellent local produce Somerset has to offer and ingredients can regularly be found in our various lunchtime specials.

We also offer pre-concert suppers which is a great way to start off an evening out. Chapter two Café and Restaurant is fully licensed with wine and beer available alongside a selection of soft drinks.

Chapter two is open from 10.00am-5.00pm Monday-Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays 11.00am-5.00pm.

Group Visits

If you would like to bring a group for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea or a pre-concert supper please call us in advance and we will look forward to welcoming you. We are located on the first floor (approached by stairs or a lift) and can accommodate up to 96 people.
