This year, the Cathedral’s Harvest Festival celebration will be held in conjunction with Wells Cathedral School and the Somerset Young Farmers’ Club. This will be a joyful thanksgiving for the harvest, held alongside those who have worked hard to make it happen. Everybody is welcome to this service, and as ever, please do come bringing items of non-perishable food, which can be passed on to the local foodbank. If you are not able to be at the service, you will still be able to drop non-perishable Harvest gifts in St Martin’s Chapel, near the font in the South Transept, from Sunday 27 September until the morning of the 4 October, and we will give thanks for all that has been brought at the service on the 4 October at 7.00 p.m.
