A creative mixed-media workshop exploring the people in the Tapestry of Black Britons exhibition, and a chance to share new stories

Presented in collaboration with Global Learning and Development Education (GLADE) and the Somerset African Caribbean Network, Join members of the Cathedral community for Woven Stories, a creative mixed-media workshop inspired by the Tapestry of Black Britons.

Explore the lives behind the tapestry and share in new narratives. Doors open at 1.30pm for a chance to meet artist and curator Paula Ogun Hector. 

This workshop is part of a series of events marking Remembrance at Wells Cathedral: 80 years since the end of WWII, 1945–2025
