About the Festival
Sample the best of Somerset in the iconic setting of Wells Cathedral. Explore the finest local ciders and cheeses, discover new favourites and soak up the atmosphere with live music and great company.
Cider fans at the event will be able to enjoy glasses of the county’s favourite tipple from local cider makers including Bray’s, Burrow Hill, Dowding’s, Glastonbury Abbey, Harry’s, Honey’s, Porlock, Rich’s, Sandford Orchards, Sheppy’s, Thatchers, Tricky, Jacks and Wilkins.
Alternative drinks will also be on offer, including cocktails and gin from Still Sisters, Wells Cathedral’s own ‘Dean Turner’s’ gins, wines from Canned Wine Co. and non-alcoholic options from Wise Bartender.
Cheese connoisseurs can indulge in offerings from Barber’s, The Bath Soft Cheese Company, Glastonbury Cheeses, Lye Cross Farm, The Newt in Somerset and Wookey Hole Cheddar.
Alongside the food and drink tasting, there’s a fun-filled programme of entertainment from Somerset-based performers, including The Mangledwurzels, PRP Contemporary Voices, and Jukebox Banned.
Tickets cost £17.50 for adults and £12.50 for under 18s, and include:
- Access to all activities on the day
- Two half-pint drink tokens
