The Damian Singers, named after the 1st century Saint (St Damian and usually paired with his brother St Cosmo), is a mixed voice adult choir. Geographically, our singers come from all over the country and we are brought together solely for the purpose of providing music within the liturgy as a Visiting Choir. When asked what brings us together as a choir, we are friends first and foremost with a collective passion for church music, and a belief that our musical blend is helped by our ability to enjoy each others’ company. We started our visiting choir experiences at Wells in August 1994, visited again in 2022 and we are delighted to return for another residency.
