RSCM Voices West
RSCM Voices West is an adult training choir which sings approximately five services per year in cathedrals and major churches across the West of England and South Wales. The choir is currently directed by George Castle. Learning new repertoire and developing vocal and musical skills is at the heart of the choir’s work, so the music sung by the choir includes a wide range of styles and periods which present different challenges and teaching points.
Crediton Parish Church Junior Choir
Crediton Parish Church is proud of its long musical tradition which can be traced back over hundreds of years. The Choir has always been at the centre of Church life. Today the Choir still maintains extremely high standards and is much respected in the West of England. The Choir currently comprises some 25adults and 20 juniors, as well as the Director of Music, Assistant Organist, and 2 Choral Scholars.
St Mary’s Swanage Junior Choir
The choir of St Mary’s, Swanage started rebuilding a junior choir in 2022,initially through work with local primary schools. There are now 16 choristers, both girls and boys, who rehearse weekly and join the adult choir for two services each month, at Family Communion and at Choral Evensong. They also participate in local concerts and other events. The Junior Choir is directed by David Fawcett.
