Sunday 12th July
10:30 - 11:30
Winchester Consort, a choir of invited, experienced singers from across the South of England, performs in a variety of spaces in a broad range of musical styles, singing for services, ceremonies, and charitable concerts while working primarily with invited, guest directors – there being no regular conductor. Singing with four to 40 singers, unaccompanied or with full orchestra, the choir has worked with some 20 or more guest directors; some just beginning their careers and others with established international reputations from their work in church music or in a capella groups.
Winchester Consort is delighted to be able to work, once again, with Dr Andrew Lumsden who is kindly directing the choir for the services on Sunday 12 July.
