The Colne Singers, formed in 2010, have sung Summer residencies in 15 English Cathedrals, together with St George’s Chapel, Windsor and Westminster Abbey. They take their name from the town of Colne, Lancashire and the River Colne, Essex, which are close to the homes of the choir’s two music directors: Graham Moon and Mark Bellis.
A number of our singers hail from East Anglia and Lancashire as well as from other parts of the country. Our recent residencies include: Norwich, Hereford, Canterbury, Durham, and Winchester. We are delighted to be contributing to the worship in beautiful Wells Cathedral this year.
