Sherborne Schools Group is a group of four schools in and around Sherborne including Sherborne Boys and Sherborne Girls. On many occasions throughout the year the Boys’ Chamber Choir and Girls’ Madrigal Society combine both in services and concerts in Sherborne Abbey (where both groups sing independently with their respective schools as the congregation very regularly) as well as further afield for Choral Evensongs and the like. The Joint Choirs’ recent repertoire has included Britten St Nicolas and Bernstein Chichester Psalms as well as a great quantity of standard Cathedral repertoire and some more light-hearted numbers.  Forthcoming engagements include an Evensong at Westminster Abbey in April as well as several concerts within the Sherborne Abbey Festival in May.
