Wells Cathedral is set in the medieval heart of England’s smallest city and is the earliest English Cathedral to be built in the Gothic style. 

Please Note: As a consequence of the national lockdown needed to control the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19), all public worship, tours, concerts, and other events are suspended in Wells Cathedral from Thursday 5 November 2020 until Wednesday 2nd December 2020 inclusive. The Cathedral remains open for individual prayer, lighting of candles and quiet reflection. All are welcome
