The Bishop of Bath and Wells and Chapter of Wells Cathedral are very pleased to announce the appointment of the Reverend Timothy Stevens as Canon Precentor of Wells Cathedral.

Tim is currently Vicar of the United Benefice of Darton and Staincross with Mapplewell in the Diocese of Leeds and Area Dean of Barnsley. He brings a wealth of gifting, interests and experience, and we look forward very much to his joining us here at Wells.

The appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of the usual statutory checks made on all clergy taking up a new appointment, and details of a service of installation will be announced in due course.
