Visitors to the Cathedral can now explore the beautiful Undercroft—closed intermittently since the covid-19 pandemic—and see a new exhibition in which staff and volunteers share what they love about the Cathedral.

Keeping the Cathedral running is an incredible team effort. We are hugely grateful to our 80+ members of staff and clergy and 360+ volunteers who support work across the organisation, from guides to gardeners, chaperones to chaplains, and embroiderers to education assistants.

In this exhibition, just a few of these amazing people share what they love about the Cathedral across a number of stunning new boards made by Cathedral Carpenter, Tom Burton. Visitors can also note down or draw their favourite highlights of the Cathedral and display them on the peg boards provided.
