The Vicars’ Close Project is a once-in-a-lifetime project and the total budget for this extraordinary vision is £7.4 million. We are fortunate to have secured £4.4 million from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, along with generous support from many others. But there remains more to do.

You can now support this project by sponsoring a unique piece of Vicars’ Close. And with items ranging from roof tiles to chimneys, there’s a sponsorship opportunity for every budget.

Please note:

Sponsorship is symbolic and allows no transferral of ownership or rights to receiving or keeping of an item.
By sponsoring an item, you are contributing to the overall Vicars’ Close Project costs, and the money will not be restricted to work connected to the item sponsored. Funds raised, after allowing for project costs, will be applied to the Vicars’ Close Project objectives. If the identified objectives cannot be met, the income will be applied to the charitable objectives of The Cathedral Church of St Andrew in Wells (Registered Charity Number 1207269) as will any surplus.
People can sponsor multiple objects and there is no limit on how many people can sponsor an item, allowing as many people as possible to be part of this exciting project.
