Wells Cathedral Cider & Cheese Festival 2026: Ticket Terms and Conditions
All Tickets are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing a ticket, as purchase constitutes acceptance of them, both by you and any other party you buy tickets for.
Please note all tickets are non refundable or transferable.
Entry
Only customers holding a valid ticket will be admitted to the Event.On arrival at the Cathedral with your ticket, you will be given a festival wristband, which must be worn for the duration of the event.Anyone who is unable to present a valid wristband on request from any Cathedral or security staff team will be asked to leave site, so please keep your wristband safe.
Child (5-18 Years) tickets will be given a different coloured wristband.
Wells Cathedral operate a “Think 25” age restricted sales policy and you may be asked to provide valid ID even if you are over 18. Only those with over 18 wrist bands will be permitted to purchase alcohol. We reserve the right to ask for identification at any time.
Children and Young Adults
Children & Young Adults are very welcome at festival but remain the responsibility of their parents/guardians at all times. All attendees under the age of 18 (whether Infant, Child or young adult) MUST be accompanied on entry by a paying adult, and this adult’s contact details will be written on the Under 18s wristband.
It is your responsibility to ascertain the suitability of the event for any children in your party, considering such factors as curfew times, appropriateness of music, size of event etc.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are usually welcome in the Cathedral, however for this event, we strongly advise against bringing them with you as we are expecting the space to be very busy and loud. If you choose to bring your dog, they must be kept on a non-extendable lead at all times.
Alcohol
The Festival will operate several fully licensed and affordable bars, and only those over the age of 18 will be served (ID Required). Wells Cathedral operates a Think 25 policy, and you will be asked to provide ID even if you are over 18.NO ALCOHOL purchased off the premises will be allowed into the festival under any circumstances, and the staff reserve the right to confiscate and dispose of any alcohol being drunk on the main site that was not bought here.
Food
There will be plenty of food stalls serving a variety of meals and snacks throughout the day. The venue prohibits food and drink being brought into the Festival. Only food and drink purchased on site may be consumed at the Festival. Complimentary still water will be provided.
Parking
There is extremely limited parking available on Cathedral Green (less than 30 spaces). Please plan ahead and aim to use one of the City’s other carparks if your mobility allows for it.
Photography / Videography at Events
Please be aware that Wells Cathedral and invited press will be taking photos throughout, and by attending this event you give your permission for your photo to be used in print and online media. Attendees are very welcome to take photos. If you share them on social media, please tag Wells Cathedral and use the hashtag #OOHAARH!
And finally…..
Safety for All
Anti-social behaviour and activities, including any behaviour which the Cathedral staff and stewards feel is significantly affecting the enjoyment of other attendees at the event, will not be tolerated and you will be removed.
