With Cheerful Voice developed out of a “virtual” choir during the covid lockdowns, and since 2022 has been singing for services in cathedrals, and other unique settings including an Oxford college, several historic churches in the City of London, the Tudor Chapel in Ightham Mote in Kent, and the Hôtel Dieu and Basilique in Beaune, France. We love playing our part in the cathedral service, and in bringing back some of the forgotten historic repertoire. Most of our members come from across the south of England, with occasional participants from France or Germany. We hold rehearsal days in central London ahead of cathedral visits and welcome any interested singers who have some experience of the cathedral repertoire. www.withcheerfulvoice.org.uk
